You didn't mention the type of scars. For keloid (raised) scars I would think exfoliating or some sort of peel. You could try organic apple cider vinegar or lemon juice which is a natural AHA. for indented pitted scars theres little you can do except maybe exfoliate. Most require some sort of surgery (laser, chemical, light). I suffer from discolourations after acne (hyperpigmentation). Best thing to use is skin lighteners and regular exfoliation. Its hard waiting it out but most discolourations will fade after a few months. With scarring it could take years without treatment.
