Does anyone know any good treatment for Acne Scarring? ?

Hey all,

Was wondering if anyone knew any Acne Scarring treatment I could get at a dermatologists, or maybe know any cream I could buy?

Thanks in advance, RikooDoes anyone know any good treatment for Acne Scarring? ?
I had quite a bit of scarring which has reduced significantly since I started using Redoxon Vit C with Zinc - I think the zinc bit is the important element, plus if you think your thru it now you could always try microdermabrasion it'll even it all out

Good luck !Does anyone know any good treatment for Acne Scarring? ?
Use Mederma. I use to have REALLY bad acne scars for years, but now they're almost completely gone. It smoothed out the scar tissue and got rid of most of the purple pigment I had. I've been using it for about a month and a half and started seeing results in about two weeks.

To use it, you apply it over the scars 2-4 times a day. According to the company, you should see results as little as a couple weeks to few months depending on how old the scar is. For a large tube of Mederma, it's about $30, for a small one, it's about $15. You can find them at Long's, Target, Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, and other pharmacy stores. But keep in mind, you have to keep up with it and you need to take care of your skin too or you'll just develop more scars (Mederma eliminates scars that already exist, it doesn't prevent them). So make sure you wash your face, moisturize it, change your pillowcases, use an ear-piece when you talk on the phone, (basically make less contact with anything and your face)...But yeah, you get the point. Just take care of your skin to prevent the scars and use Mederma to get rid of the current ones. ;)

Hope that helps! Good luck!
vitamin c is supposed to help with that a bit, if it's recent scarring it should reduce quite a bit but i'm afraid that scars will take time to heal up properly and that sometimes they don't heal, but there will be some good treatments, if you go to your local gp or chemist i'm sure they can help you easily, good luck!
Yeah. dermatologists have got loads of good treatments

i think one is called ';Microderm Abrasion';. It more of less means they take the top layer of ur skin off (not gross like u think lol).

Don't know of any creams. I guess if u exfoliate then eventually ur skin will clear up but that could take like years depending how bad scarring u got.

Best bet : Microderm Abrasion. Go to dermatologist. On a Friday, cause ur face will be red and a bit puffy afterwards so u don't want to go to school like that. Might need more than one treatment.
